Requirements
Proven experience in a similar role within a busy restaurant or hospitality setting
Strong supervisory and team management skills with the ability to lead by example
Extensive knowledge of food production, preparation, and cooking techniques
Demonstrable culinary expertise with a passion for innovation and quality
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene management
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
Previous experience in restaurant service, including serving customers when required
Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and develop team members
Relevant qualifications in culinary arts or hospitality management are desirable but not essential
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service
Oversee all aspects of food production, including cooking, plating, and presentation
Develop and implement innovative menus in line with current culinary trends and customer preferences
Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards
Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control waste to optimise kitchen operations
Train and mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and performance
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
Ensure all dishes meet quality standards before serving to customers
Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards
